At Bayer, we're seeking a Senior Area General Manager (Sr. AGM) to lead our Cardiovascular business in the Detroit area. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering top-line targets while effectively managing a dynamic cross-functional customer-facing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving revenue goals for the area by executing comprehensive strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share in the region.
- Developing and leading a high-performing team in the business unit, including sales representatives, key account managers, and other specialized roles.
- Identifying, retaining, and attracting high-performing talent for the organization.
- Gaining and applying a deep understanding of relevant markets, business models, strategic priorities, future direction, and financial drivers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management, and leadership, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You will be able to create local vision and strategy for the greatest business impact, and have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license required.
- Strong mindset towards insatiable ownership, curiosity, and accountability of their local business.
- Ability to understand and utilize facts/data.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work through complexity.
- Solid selling and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, market access, medical, and patient access to ensure commercial execution.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $202,000.00 to $303,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
