Description
As a Physical Security Systems Specialist at Ford Energy, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational execution, stability, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security applications at our Glendale, KY site. This includes administering and maintaining physical security applications and related services, providing technical support for field hardware, client/workstation software, and network connectivity, and monitoring and responding to system alarms and events.
Your responsibilities will also include maintaining badge printing hardware and assisting security operations with credential production and issuance, auditing and modifying system users and field devices, and commissioning and testing newly installed field devices. Additionally, you will lead integrations with third-party applications and data sources and coordinate testing and cutovers.
You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our physical security systems and provide excellent customer service and documentation skills. You will have a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, client/server applications, and basic networking fundamentals, and be able to learn new application interfaces and follow established procedures.
