Description

We are seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team on board our ships. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of meals, as well as ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements:

  • Formal qualification in Culinary Arts from a recognized culinary training institution
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience in a high-volume culinary production environment
  • Strong knowledge of Western cuisines and a basic understanding of public health and sanitation regulations and procedures
  • Ability to train and motivate Commis Chefs effectively
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
