Staff+ Software Engineer, Enterprise

We're looking for a Staff+ Software Engineer to anchor our Enterprise pillar, making Claude enterprise-ready at scale. This high-agency role spans multiple efforts within Enterprise, designing systems and products that enable Fortune 500 companies to roll out Claude to thousands of employees.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive multi-year technical strategy, including distributability and multi-cloud strategy
• Identify and lead high-complexity, high-impact engineering initiatives
• Serve as a primary technical decision-maker for major architectural decisions
• Partner with teams like Inference, Platform, and Customer Success
• Mentor and develop Staff-level engineers
• Drive alignment across Product, GTM, and Customer Success

Requirements:

• 10+ years of engineering experience at Staff or Senior Staff level
• Track record of shaping technical strategy for large-scale Cloud Service Providers or Enterprise SaaS companies
• Expertise in distributed systems, API architecture, and enterprise areas like security and compliance
• Strong domain expertise and intuition in enterprise areas

Salary Range: $405,000-$485,000 USD per year
