Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and treatment plans. You will assist with exercises, modalities, and other treatments to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plans
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Provide patient education on exercise techniques and home programs
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) required
• Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Texas required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
