Retail Liaison Co-ordinator

We are seeking a Retail Liaison Co-ordinator to join our team at the Galleries Shopping Centre in Washington.

The Galleries Washington is home to over 120 high street and independent stores, services complemented by a wide range of F&B options, and attracts over 12 million shoppers every year.

As a Retail Liaison Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing relationships with all tenants and providing a strong level of communication between the centre team and stores.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• First point of contact for all tenants and mall operators
• Developing strong tenant relationships
• Monitor tenant performance and support where required
• Lead on all turnover collation, analysis, and review of available sales turnover details/data and present trends
• Report regularly on footfall figures and retailer trade
• Ensure timely and accurate internal and external reporting

Marketing responsibilities:

• Work with the Marketing team to programme and develop retailer Social Media content
• Support the Marketing team to execute marketing plans and manage on-site events
• Engage tenants in marketing activity and promote all centre activity to encourage participation

Specific management responsibilities:

• Form part of the Duty Manager Rota, including weekend and evening working where necessary
• Regularly liaise with key stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Knowledge of general business practices, including accounting, human resources, and customer service

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in previous customer service/retail experience in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Excellent report writing, analytical, and presentation skills
• Strong visual design, videography, photography, and storytelling/copywriting abilities
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, and video editing tools
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines
• Understanding and a genuine passion for the retail environment
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel (advanced level)
• Commercially astute
