Electrical Maintenance Technician - Shift

Help us make a difference as a Shift Electrical Technician at our West Sussex MBT/AD facility.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our MBT/AD facility in West Sussex. As a Shift Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for driving engineering activities to deliver all operational aspects of the facility.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Working reactively, dealing with machinery problems and breakdowns, as well as working through planned preventative maintenance and project work.
• Fault finding on PLC's, preferably Siemens S7, but anything else is considered.
• Ensuring all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported immediately.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
• Motor electrical and mechanical fault finding, familiarity with MCC layout of panels.
• Controls and Instrumentation (temperatures, pressure transducers, flow meters etc).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Requirements:

• HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• BS7671 18th edition (advantageous)
• Experience of working in a similar environment, so either manufacturing or industrial or automated, supporting maintenance work.
