At Ford Motor Company, we're seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Technical Anchor for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This is a hybrid position, requiring the employee to work both from home and from our Dearborn office. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and products to meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include participating in the entire software development lifecycle, designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality, and deploying software to meet customer requirements. You will also develop all software components, including user interfaces and server-side code, and design, build, and maintain data solutions for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately. Additionally, you will develop intelligent programs and cognitive applications for data analysis and automation, leveraging various AI techniques such as generative AI and natural language processing. As a Technical Anchor, you will lead development efforts and ensure high-quality code and optimal performance. You will champion Agile methodologies and build and deploy robust CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and Terraform. You will provide technical guidance, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative environment. You will work closely with designers and product owners to ensure alignment between technical requirements and business objectives.
