Powertrain Design Engineer

We are seeking a Powertrain Design Engineer to join our team at AVL Hungary Kft.

As a Powertrain Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating 3D and 2D designs, either independently or based on instructions from lead engineers
• Performing DMU checks and preparing documentation related to design activities
• Communicating with suppliers and customers

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Relevant professional experience in vehicle engine and/or powertrain component design, hybrid- and/or electrified powertrain component design, or special purpose machine design (an advantage)
• Good communication skills
• B2 level proficiency in English and/or German
• Knowledge of MS Office and at least one CAD system (Creo, Catia V5/V6, or NX)
