Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve mobility and strength Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Work collaboratively with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapist assisting or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
BLS certification Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) systems
Salary Range: $30-$35/hr
