FBS SAP FS-RI Developer

FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers operations, partnering with Capgemini as the Employer of Record. The SAP Finance team supports Finance operations and reporting for Farmers Insurance. The FS-RI technical resource will be responsible for building and delivering new business requirements and use cases, while providing production and business as usual support for existing production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level expertise in designing and functioning business applications
• Understand business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT
• Conceptually design business applications
• Review and validate technical designs for business applications provided by suppliers
• Perform quality review checks on project deliverables
• Validate supplier estimates
• Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components
• Translate complex reinsurance requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Set up and maintain treaty and facultative structures, proportional/non-proportional arrangements, participation structures, and risk accumulations
• Ensure accurate reinsurance accounting and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FS-CD
• Manage period-end close processes, premium estimations, claims recoveries, and settlements
• Lead or support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution, and data reconciliation

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience working with SAP ABAP
• Experience working with Experience Services framework
• Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA
• Knowledge working with FS-RI

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge in Informatica Power Center
• Experience with SAP FS-CD
