Lakebase Sales Specialist - MEA

Databricks is seeking a Lakebase Sales Specialist to help customers modernise their operational data foundation with Databricks Lakebase, a fully-managed Postgres offering for intelligent applications.

The role involves driving new Lakebase revenue, leading with outcomes for key Lakebase personas, selling the value of fully-managed Postgres, running complex sales cycles, and partnering with regional Account Executives and solution architects.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving new Lakebase revenue and activations
• Leading with outcomes for platform teams, developers, data teams, and central IT
• Selling the value of fully-managed Postgres for intelligent applications
• Running complex sales cycles and navigating executive, technical, and line-of-business stakeholders
• Orchestrating proof-of-value and POCs
• Competing and winning against legacy and cloud-native operational databases
• Aligning to measurable business outcomes
• Partnering cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner teams

Requirements include:

• Proven enterprise SaaS sales experience
• Proven success selling data platforms, operational databases, or adjacent data/AI infrastructure
• Strong understanding of modern data and application architectures
• Ability to sell to technical and business stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience leading specialist or overlay motions
• Executive presence and strong value selling skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience selling Postgres, operational databases, OLTP workloads, or transactional cloud database services
• Familiarity with data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and cloud ecosystems
• Understanding of reverse ETL, real-time decisioning, and operational analytics use cases
