Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Livonia, MI location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments
• Implement treatment plans developed by physical therapists
• Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field preferred
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Michigan
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
