Delivery Solutions Architect

As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) at Databricks, you will play a crucial role in empowering customers to solve complex data problems using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will collaborate with sales and field engineering teams to accelerate platform adoption and growth, ensuring customer success by providing technical guidance and accountability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand plans for prioritised customers
• Leading post-technical win technical account strategy and execution plans for strategic accounts
• Being the accountable technical leader for specific use cases and customers across multiple selling teams and internal stakeholders
• Providing technical support and issue resolution for production/go-live status of agreed-upon use cases
• Leveraging Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support resources to build tasks beyond your scope or expertise
• Creating and executing point-of-view on accelerating key use cases into production, coordinating with Professional Services resources
• Navigating Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs
• Developing execution plans covering all activities of customer-facing technical roles and teams
• Providing internal and external updates and KPI reporting on usage and customer health

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technical project/program delivery within Data and AI
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles
• Understanding of solution architecture related to distributed data systems
• Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables
• Technical program or project management experience, including account, stakeholder, and resource management
• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives
• Track record of overachievement against quota or similar objective targets
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
