Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation efforts.
Responsibilities: Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve mobility, strength, and flexibility Use equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes, and resistance bands to aid in patient rehabilitation Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Indiana Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Effective communication and interpersonal skills
