Description
As an Event Logistics Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Event Logistics Manager with the logistical setup and completion of large spectator events and track rentals at the Daytona International Speedway. Your primary focus will be on providing event operations support for events such as the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. You will also assist with the management of vendors, including tent and fence vendors, ATM machines, and Jumbo TV screens in fan loading areas. Additionally, you will help with the development of ideas and implementation for events, including scheduling maintenance of and scheduling load-in, vendor parking needs, restroom placement, trash barrel placement, setting up fence, coordinating directional signage, and marking underground utilities. You will also assist with order, inventory, and placement of event-specific signage, and coordinate and distribute credentials and parking passes for workers and operational vendors.
This is a seasonal role intended for January - May 2024, with varying hours including all hours the office is open, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to attend events and fulfill job responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management in the motorsports industry and project a positive image to internal and external customers, communicate effectively and professionally at all times.

You should be clean and neat at all times, a team builder and team worker, and dependable transportation to and from work is required.
