Description
Joining Razer will place you on a global mission to revolutionize the way the world games. As an Associate Onboarding Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for wallet users, merchants, and resellers while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements through name screening and due diligence processes.
Your responsibilities will include executing end-to-end due diligence by reviewing and validating onboarding applications and supporting documents for merchants and resellers. You will also perform robust KYC and KYB checks in accordance with internal policies, local AML/CFT regulations, and global industry standards.
In addition, you will analyze name screening alerts against global sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media using tools like World-Check or Dow Jones to identify and escalate true matches. You will also identify and document AML/CFT red flags during the due diligence process, such as suspicious business models, complex ownership structures, or inconsistencies in source of wealth.
You will assess potential transaction risks by correlating onboarding data with expected merchant behavior to help inform future transaction monitoring strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to resolve complex onboarding issues and mitigate identified risks.
You will manage the escalation of high-risk cases for Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), ensuring all findings are backed by thorough investigation and documentation. You will maintain comprehensive audit trails and accurate records to ensure the organization is always 'audit-ready' for internal and external reviews.
You will ensure timely account activation while maintaining a firm stance on compliance requirements to protect the platform from illicit activity. You will support periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring of existing entities to ensure their risk profile remains accurate based on their actual transactional activity.
