Description

Flock is seeking a Property Operations Associate to manage the day-to-day performance of its single-family rental portfolio. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring efficient operations and consistent execution of Flock's standards throughout the property and tenant lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own resident relationships end-to-end, serving as the main point of contact for residents from move-in to move-out, managing inquiries and maintenance requests with responsiveness and care.
  • Execute seamless move-in and move-out processes, ensuring accurate document completion, managing the full move-out procedure, and updating internal systems to reflect all status changes.
  • Manage resident payment and collections, tracking and monitoring resident payment status, issuing reminders and notices for overdue balances, and coordinating repayment plans or escalations when needed.
  • Oversee compliance administration, coordinating and managing all HOA, municipal/city, and Section 8 inspections, including scheduling, compliance tracking, and follow-up.
  • Resolve utility and operational issues, monitoring and resolving utility service issues, coordinating with vendors and field teams, and providing resident support regarding utility and maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain operational rigor, keeping accurate and timely records of all property and resident activity, utilizing Appfolio, Google Workspace, and Salesforce to organize workflows and maintain records.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in real estate, property management, or customer service, with experience in managing properties and residents.
  • Meticulous and process-driven, with excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Organized problem-solver, able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and proactively address operational needs.
  • Accountable and compliant, demonstrating accountability for responsibilities and actively participating in feedback loops for continuous improvement.
