Description
As a Receptionist, you will provide a high-quality frontline response to customer enquiries and act as the efficient interface with other departments throughout the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Manning the front desk and ensuring the reception area and display of current Future Publishing magazines is always kept tidy and up-to-date.
- Maintaining the stationery and refreshment supply for the building.
- Providing an efficient, knowledgeable, and professional first point of contact for all enquiries from visitors, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Answering the main telephone promptly, politely, and professionally, and directing the caller to the correct person/department.
- Handling complex travel bookings, hire cars, and booking train tickets often at short notice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be both proactive and reactive, able to identify any issues and resolve the problem with own initiative and autonomy or seek support when needed.
- Proven success at supporting busy and challenging teams, adhering to deadlines.
- Strong G Suite skills.
- A professional, courteous, and positive manner, but equally assertive even under pressure and managing several tasks.
- Confident communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A flexible, highly adaptable attitude.
The expected salary for this role is £15,900.
