Description

As a Receptionist, you will provide a high-quality frontline response to customer enquiries and act as the efficient interface with other departments throughout the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manning the front desk and ensuring the reception area and display of current Future Publishing magazines is always kept tidy and up-to-date.
  • Maintaining the stationery and refreshment supply for the building.
  • Providing an efficient, knowledgeable, and professional first point of contact for all enquiries from visitors, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Answering the main telephone promptly, politely, and professionally, and directing the caller to the correct person/department.
  • Handling complex travel bookings, hire cars, and booking train tickets often at short notice.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be both proactive and reactive, able to identify any issues and resolve the problem with own initiative and autonomy or seek support when needed.
  • Proven success at supporting busy and challenging teams, adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong G Suite skills.
  • A professional, courteous, and positive manner, but equally assertive even under pressure and managing several tasks.
  • Confident communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A flexible, highly adaptable attitude.

The expected salary for this role is £15,900.
