Description
This role provides day-to-day leadership support, strategy implementation, and business unit/project support for the Utility Services team. Key responsibilities include strategic reporting and analysis, advisor to the management team, business unit compliance and oversight, new product implementation support, executive management presentations, project financial tracking, and business unit organisational support.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with four or more years of experience in project cost tracking and cost analysis and reporting. They will also have prior experience managing organisational budgets, strong entrepreneurial skills, and a broad understanding of Southern Company's unregulated products and services, operations, policies, and procedures.
Key skills required include proficiency with Microsoft Suite products, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to initiate and manage multiple and complex projects, and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves working closely with sales managers, project managers, business operations, and other key stakeholders to support the organisation's goals and objectives.
