Skilled Trade-CARPENTER ALL AROUND-Buffalo Stamping Plant (BSP)

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter All Around to join our team at the Buffalo Stamping Plant.

As a Carpenter All Around, you will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks, including installing, repairing, and fabricating wood and metal components. You will work on a variety of projects, from furniture and hardware to stairs and scaffolding.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks of the trade, including standing for extended periods, walking unassisted, working at heights, and manipulating tools typical of the trade.
• Install, repair, and fabricate wood and metal components, including furniture and hardware, stairs, scaffolding, and wood platforms.
• Perform general building, office, plant, and industrial equipment and machinery painting.
• Install and replace windows, floor, wall, and ceiling tile.
• Install permanently attached wood platforms in storage racks and dollies.
• Cut Plexiglas, wood, masonite, plastic, and celotex when required.
• Perform cement and masonry repairs, floor patching, and finishing.
• Hang metal and wooden doors, install door hardware, and door jams.
• Fabricate card holders, cabinets, paper holders, and picture frames.

Requirements:

• Completed a bona fide apprenticeship or have 8 years of previous experience in the trade.
• Proficiency in installing, repairing, and fabricating wood and metal components.
• Ability to work at heights, manipulate tools, and perform tasks of the trade.
• Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
