The Intelligence Systems team is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers.

We are seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer specializing in EMI/EMC to join our expanding team in Santa Ana, CA. This role focuses on leading EMI/EMC (Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility) test design initiatives for our cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs for EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Work with design teams to establish manufacturing EMC test limits based on development characterization tests.
  • Conduct tests to assess electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EMI/EMC performance issues at the component level.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple concurrent projects and customers.
  • Stay updated on military and aerospace EMI/EMC standards (MIL-STD-461, DO-160, MIL-STD-704).
  • Generate requirements and work cross-functionally with Mechanical, Thermal, Validation engineers.
  • Provide factory and manufacturing support from a design, DfX, quality, debug, and failure analysis perspective.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in designing hardware products for EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC Test Equipment such as spectrum analyzers, antennas, LISN, NF Probes, GTEM & Anechoic Chamber.
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design and PCB Layout techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices.
  • Experience with design/test automation software such as LabVIEW.
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces such as MIPI, DP, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
  • Knowledge of common MCU, CPU, SOC devices and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
