Clinical Nurse Coordinator PCU

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) for our Progressive Care Unit, you will collaborate with the Director to lead a team of medical professionals. This role involves fiscal, human resource, and operational functions, as well as strategic planning and implementation of new programs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director to provide leadership to the team
• Participate in department and hospital strategic planning
• Implement new programs and services
• Maintain an effective competency and staff development program
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including payroll, department expenses, and employee evaluations
• Assist in maintaining a departmental staffing plan
• Ensure appropriate skill mix and staffing levels
• Foster a positive environment and lead by example

Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
• Current BLS, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS provider card required within the first 12 months of hire
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience
• Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
