Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at ATI Physical Therapy in Burtonsville, Maryland.

As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improveiese health and function. You will conduct initial evaluations, set goals, and provide hands-on therapy to help patients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals
• Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, to help patients achieve their goals
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective collaboration and coordination of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited programme
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an outpatient rehab setting
• Certification in a specialty area, such as sports medicine or pediatrics
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
