Cleaning Operative - Nights

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE Your duties will involve the cleaning of a busy shopping and leisure center, this includes mall floors, emptying bins, litter picking, using machinery such as jetwash, scrubber dryers, cardboard baler, waste compactors. You would be required to clean toilets and top up consumables.

Requirements

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting surfaces
• Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
• Emptying bins on the front of house areas
• Moving glass and food bins into the yards and replacing them with new ones
• Usage of machinery such as jetwash, scrubber dryers, cardboard baler, waste compactors
• Hoovering and mopping floors including stairwells
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
• Any other duties as assigned by your manager to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the business will be communicated to you
