Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. As a Senior Director, LCM CoreTech Engineering, you will lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of lifecycle management platforms that power EA's live service ecosystem.
In this role, you will oversee a global engineering organization responsible for building and operating large-scale, cloud-based platforms. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing Technology, Studios, and central teams to drive alignment, manage complex dependencies, and deliver meaningful business impact.
Your responsibilities will include defining and driving long-term technical strategy, seeking continuous improvement, and increasing platform leverage, studio adoption, and business impact across the company. You will also work with cross-functional teams to streamline the live services workflow and evaluate where EA's live service solutions, studio tech stacks, and vendor solutions can work together.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in software engineering with 7+ years in senior leadership roles, delivering large-scale, distributed systems. They will have proven ability to define and lead complex system architectures, including microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native platforms.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record leading teams to build and scale consumer-facing data products and services
- Strong record of driving engineering rigor and operational excellence across modern software development and platform operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, define long-term technical roadmaps, and deliver against multi-year strategies
- Strong collaboration and influence skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders

In terms of compensation, the salary range for this role is $227,300 - $344,700 USD per year, depending on location.
