X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant

We are seeking an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant to join our team at CareNow in Wichita Falls, TX. As an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant, you will assist healthcare professionals with patient care, take x-rays, and perform various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams
• Take x-rays of patients as ordered by healthcare professionals
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance claims
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a certified medical assistant program or equivalent experience
• Current certification as a medical assistant or x-ray technician
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
