Description
We are seeking a Structuring Director to join our Global Markets team in New York.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transaction management and execution across structured deals, including shaping transaction terms, creating marketing materials, securing internal approvals, and coordinating documentation through to pricing, execution, and settlement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning transaction execution end-to-end from term development through documentation, pricing, execution, and settlement coordination
- Coordinating activity across Trading, Sales, Marketing, and internal control functions to progress transactions efficiently
- Creating term sheets, presentations, and approval materials that clearly set out structure design and rationale
- Providing technical input in client meetings alongside marketing teams, translating structures into clear outcomes
- Applying market fundamentals and key drivers to evaluate economic value, trading principles, and structured trade ideas
- Shaping desk strategy with Sales and Trading by contributing market views and structured solution perspectives
- Generating new product ideas with Sales and Trading and progressing them through appropriate internal alignment
- Tracking pricing and technical market developments and articulating a house view where relevant to structuring activity
Requirements:
- Proven experience structuring and executing transactions across relevant financial markets
- Deep understanding of market fundamentals and the ability to assess economic value within structures
- Established capability producing client-facing structuring materials including term sheets and presentations
- Strong coordination across front office and internal control functions to deliver timely execution
- Sound judgement to ensure transactions fit bank risk appetite and deliver risk appropriately to clients
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to marketing teams and clients
- Experience building and sustaining effective working relationships across regions, countries, and functions
