Barista (Japanese Speaking)

As a Barista with Princess Cruises, you will be an expert in your craft, possessing a deep understanding of coffee blends, coffee roasting, and operating espresso machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure beverage service team members act as company ambassadors and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
• Drive service excellence culture and oversee Bar Steward, Jr. Bar Steward & Utility F&B performance.
• Partner with the Bar Supervisor to respond to guest feedback and develop action plans.
• Own your experience area and oversee product and service execution.
• Prepare and maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Drive beverage sales performance and promotions.
• Process guest orders promptly and accurately through the on-board POS system.
• Manage beverage inventory and conduct inventory counts.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a barista in a large hospitality setting.
• Certification in barista techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to create latte art is desirable.
• Proficiency in operating coffee machines and grinders.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese language.
• Understanding of guest service and ability to deliver outstanding service.
• Personable communicator with outstanding social skills.
