Description
As an ADAS/AD Systems Engineer at AVL, you will find creative engineering solutions to develop automated driving technologies from concept level to production sign-off. Your daily responsibilities will include developing and defining functional/non-functional requirements of ADAS/AD features with performance KPIs, designing ADAS/AD features according to standards and legislations, and working with AVL Global experts to keep up with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Your profile should include a BSc. in Electronics, Controls, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automotive engineering or other related area, and preferably with MSc. or PhD. degrees. You should have a strong understanding of fundamentals of ADAS/AD and/or vehicle features, experience in system engineering, ADAS/AD scenario-based development, ADAS/AD simulation, and AI-based applications, and good knowledge of ADAS/AD relevant safety standards & regulations, Functional safety (ISO26262) and SOTIF (ISO21448).
You will also be willing to frequent and long-term travel abroad.
