Strategic Procurement Manager

As a Strategic Procurement Manager in our Media Team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, design holistic procurement strategies, and shape international supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Business partnering: providing clear recommendations and data-driven decision-making support to stakeholders in the media business
• Strategic sourcing: identifying optimisation potentials, developing strategic sourcing approaches, and conducting RFX processes
• Governance, compliance & ESG: integrating ESG requirements into procurement processes and ensuring compliance with global guidelines
• Supplier relationship management: driving standardised supplier management, identifying suitable partners, and optimising the digital supplier portfolio
• Project management: leading and steering strategic procurement projects from definition to implementation and review
• Data analysis & opportunity identification: analysing procurement, expenditure, supplier, and performance data to identify potential savings and efficiency gains

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in digital products & services, media, or indirect procurement
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, as well as experience in project and process management
• Good understanding of digital markets and modern procurement processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is beneficial, SAP and BI knowledge is a plus
• Team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently and responsibly
• Proactive and self-motivated approach, with enthusiasm for coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
• Solution-oriented thinking and strong problem-solving competence to develop innovative and sustainable approaches
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as fluent English and German language skills

The minimum collective contractual salary for this position is €2,362.00 gross per month.
