Description
Richmond Raceway seeks motivated individuals to join our Maintenance team. This is a seasonal position to assist the team in preparing the facility and grounds for events and to maintain and improve the overall condition of the buildings and grounds.
General Maintenance
The successful candidate will be responsible for general building and grounds maintenance and upkeep, including cleaning, power washing, garbage removal, mowing, weed whipping, tree trimming, landscaping, painting, and event setup. They will also operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.
Janitorial
The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and trash removal of office buildings, houses, suite buildings, etc., as well as cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms. They will also operate hand and power tools, carts, and vehicles.
Signs/Hospitality
The successful candidate will be responsible for sign maintenance and installation, vinyl application and installation of large banners, painting ground graphics and walls and buildings, and setup and installation of tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment for events. They will also operate forklifts and boom lifts, if preferred.
Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, be able to work overtime, including some evenings and weekends, and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather elements. They will also need to frequently lift and carry objects/material up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
