Electrical Engineer, High Speed Missiles Avionics Design

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in Costa Mesa, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end avionics systems and subsystems development, including design, integration, testing, and validation.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, integrating, testing, and validating avionics systems and subsystems
• Performing power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing
• Using lab test equipment such as benchtop power supplies, electronics loads, oscilloscopes, and logic/spectrum analyzers
• Working with common electrical bus interfaces like CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and RS232/422/485
• Managing projects and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs
• Experience with power design and power management systems
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and mixed-signal PCBs
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and integrating electrical systems into high-speed air vehicles or missiles
• Familiarity with high-end consumer or military embedded systems design
• Experience with power systems, including batteries and AC power
• Background in defense and missile systems
