IT Systems Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

The IT Systems team builds systems that keep internal customers productive. We're looking for a Systems Engineer to automate IT processes end-to-end, turning manual work into reliable software, applying AI where it makes sense, and shipping self-service tools.

The work is split between two outcomes. First, increasing service desk agent efficiency by building automations, integrations, and AI-assisted workflows. Second, providing self-service automations to internal customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build automations that take repetitive work off of IT Service Desk
• Ship self-service tools that let internal customers resolve common IT requests on their own
• Build creative custom applications and automations that extend the tools and applications we own

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in IT Engineering
• Experience managing productivity, collaboration, and design tools
• Adept in leveraging a programming language, including Python, Go, Rust, etc.
• Proven success in developing end-user applications and workflow automations
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operating production services
• Experience applying AI/LLMs to internal tooling, support workflows, or agent-assist use cases
• Experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications
