As a Tech Lead - Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving transformation and crafting the future of our enterprise through modern automation. This role is uniquely positioned to offer you the opportunity to work with advanced technologies and collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Developing the entire automation solution life cycle, from intake through development, debugging, testing, and implementation into production. Writing documentation that follows the Reporting Center of Excellence’s standards and governance. Reviewing and ensuring all developed automated solutions meet objectives and guidelines by collaborating with the lead engineer. Building and reviewing sustainability documentation for automated processes and contributing to team training and professional development. Maintaining and debugging over 500 existing automation processes to ensure consistent, accurate, and up-to-date operational rhythms. Leading recurring meetings with business collaborators, sharing functional and technical expertise, identifying automation opportunities, and guiding participants in setting up successful automation processes. Researching and developing code to improve existing automations, focusing on faster run times and innovative solutions. Supporting the Reporting Center of Excellence in driving forward strategic and tactical implementation of automation solutions. Directing the development of automation solutions using Python, Blue Prism, Power Automate, Co Pilot Studio, and other platforms to simplify repetitive tasks. Conducting detailed reviews of automation code developed by team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring alignment with organizational standards. Mentoring and training junior engineers, encouraging skill development in Python, Blue Prism, Power Automate, and problem-solving techniques. Finding opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to optimize automations. Incorporating AI/ML capabilities into automation workflows where applicable. Supporting proof-of-concept developments to evaluate new tools and frameworks for automation efficiency.
