At Ripple Effect, we are a studio where you can do the best work of your career. Above all, we’re driven by quality - in the games we create, and in the studio we’ve built.

We’re looking for a Technical Artist with a strong focus on tools and pipeline development to help scale content production for a AAA environment. You’ll work at the intersection of art and engineering, building robust, scalable workflows that enable teams to deliver high-quality content efficiently. Partnering closely with artists, designers, and engineers, you’ll identify bottlenecks, develop production-ready solutions, and drive improvements across the content pipeline

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain tools that support production workflows.
  • Debug and resolve pipeline issues across multiple stages of development.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
  • Collaborate with artists to identify workflow challenges and implement practical solutions.
  • Document tools and provide support to content teams.

Skills We Look For:

  • 3-5 years of experience developing production-ready tools and pipelines for game development or a closely related field
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, C#, or similar)
  • Experience building tools in DCC applications (e.g., Maya, Blender, Houdini)
  • Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and asset integration workflows
  • Solid understanding of art production pipelines and real-time constraints
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce)
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance technical constraints and artistic goals
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across disciplines
