Investment and Strategy Analyst (all genders)

You'll join the M&A team at Holidu Hosts France SAS, the engine behind the company's growth through acquisitions. The team has completed 14 deals in Europe's vacation rental market and is looking for someone to source new deals, evaluate opportunities, execute live deals, integrate acquired companies, and scale the M&A process.

Responsibilities

• Source potential deals by running market maps and screens across various sectors, tracking key players, and identifying targets for acquisition, utilizing in-house AI tooling.
• Develop investment cases by evaluating opportunities and preparing materials for the investment committee, with your analysis influencing which deals are pursued.
• Execute live deals by managing workstreams throughout due diligence and deal execution, with hands-on guidance from the team.
• Integrate acquired companies as a cross-functional project manager, leading post-merger integration efforts.
• Scale the M&A process to handle increased deal velocity.
• Optionally rotate through adjacent growth teams to broaden your skill set.

Requirements

• A top-tier degree in a business, STEM, or quantitative field, backed by a strong academic record.
• Evidence of exceptional ability, such as internships at a bank, private equity/venture capital fund, or top consultancy; founding a startup; or delivering a significant project.
• Strong analytical skills, able to break down complex problems into manageable parts and support conclusions with evidence.
• An owner's mindset, comfortable taking initiative and running with tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in both German and English.
