Distribution Analyst

We are seeking a Distribution Analyst to join our team in Atlanta. The successful candidate will provide strategic analysis, standard reports, non-distribution support, point of sale management, and communication for the region, Vice President of Distribution, and Distributor Partner Managers.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Analysis Business Planning:
• Analyze preliminary revenue and budget data for Vice President of Distribution approval
• Participate in planning cycle activities such as roll-up, plan-to-actual gap analyses, and progress reporting
• Validate distributor partner reporting accuracy
• Conduct region forecasting and distribution cost budget analyses
• Manage point of sale data

• Standard Reports and Processes:
• Validate invoices and direct distributor partners for clean-up
• Develop and maintain standard reports for continuous improvement
• Measure phase 1 distributor partner management project results
• Execute canned reports for various stakeholders
• Prepare execution reporting for RBNA and VPD region reporting

• Support of Other Functions:
• Provide support to headquarters, national accounts, and other regional functions
• Manage regional national account survey process

• Communication:
• Communicate with distributor partners regarding invoicing and payment issues
• Prepare weekly updates for VPD and monthly sales meetings

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an analyst role within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
• Experience facilitating working relationships with finance leads at distributor partners
• Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to convert analytics into insights
• Sales-oriented with understanding of sales drivers and connections between data and sales execution
• Good communication skills and highly organized
• Understanding of core distribution roles and organization
• Knowledge of retail landscape
• Comfortable in a non-field role
• Ability to work cross-functionally with RBNA, regions, and retailers
• High-level understanding of RBNA reporting technology and Circana
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

What We Offer

• Base salary range: $72,000 - $108,000 + cash incentives
• Travel: 10-20%
