Physical Therapist - Outpatient Neuro

As a Physical Therapist - Outpatient Neuro, you will join an amazing group of motivated neuro PTs, OTs, and speech therapists who provide excellent care to those they serve. You will be responsible for utilizing advanced education and training to provide individualized treatment for clients/patients/residents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions on clients/patients/residents who are affected by injury or disease.
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
• Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary.
• Educate clients/patients/resident's and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
• Demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
• Maintain and further personal education and training to continue to be viewed as an expert in their field.

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Minimum of two years of Physical Therapy experience or have graduated from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) residency program and have passed the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) board exam to obtain the board certified designation of specialty practice.
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
