We are seeking a Marketing & Events Assistant to join our team in El Segundo, California. As a part-time, exempt role, you will work 20 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 1-5 PM, with a base salary range of $22-$26 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Product & Stock Management:
  • Process product seeding and demo orders, ensuring accurate loan records and policy adherence
  • Locate inventory, complete professional pack-outs, generate FedEx labels, and manage shipments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully functional storage unit
  • Event Coordination Support:
  • Own the full logistics cycle for events, including finding, packing, logging, shipping, receiving, breaking down, and restoring gear
  • Manage and replenish stock levels for branded merchandise, cables, and event materials
  • Marketing Campaign Support:
  • Collaborate on artist and influencer campaigns, assisting with talent sourcing and coordinating NDAs and partnership agreements
  • Track media and dealer partner campaign data, surfacing insights and analysis to brand managers
  • General & Office Support:
  • Handle local driving as needed, including FedEx drop-offs and pickups, collecting print materials, and sourcing supplies
  • Provide light office administration, including ordering supplies, supporting building management, and keeping the team's workspace functional and stocked

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong sense of personal accountability
  • Ability to manage high volumes of concurrent tasks without losing accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with a positive, team-first attitude
  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay composed when priorities shift
  • Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance

  • Zero missed shipments or lost inventory
  • Events leave the building fully packed and arrive back fully accounted for
  • NetSuite records are current and accurate
  • Teammates stop having to follow up with you
  • The storage unit is consistently organized and accessible
  • You've learned the basics of at least two Focusrite Group brands well enough to explain them to a newcomer
  • You've proactively identified and flagged at least one process gap or improvement opportunity

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to remain in a stationary seated position for extended periods
  • Ability to move actively for up to 50% of the workday
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and office equipment
