Description

We are seeking an Event Marketing Manager to lead our national events programme for Red Bull in Poland. You will develop and implement a strategy for events that align with the company's global strategy and meet local business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing a national events programme for Red Bull in Poland, in close alignment with the company's global strategy and local business objectives.
  • Planning, budgeting, and setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for events, creating timelines, leading project groups, selecting subcontractors, executing, collecting, and analysing results related to event projects for Red Bull in the sports area.
  • Close collaboration with other marketing departments and the wider organization to maximize the impact of event marketing activities.
  • Providing expertise to the Field Marketing department in selecting, implementing, and evaluating so-called Supported Events.
  • Collaboration with the Brand Marketing department on promoting events, creating materials, merchandise, and branding solutions for events.
  • Collaboration with the Red Bull Media Network on maximizing the media effects of event marketing activities.
  • Networking - actively seeking opportunities for cooperation with other brands, potential sponsors, and partners, as well as supported events.
  • External environment: collaborating with external entities in the sports industry (e.g., event agencies, athletes, managers, and influencers, associations and federations, facility owners).
  • Collaboration with the Austrian headquarters to obtain the latest information on best practices and knowledge exchange with other countries.
  • Budgeting, Business Plan, and Legal Issues: realistic and effective planning of the sports budget and control thereof.
  • Active participation in the creation of new projects, searching for and introducing innovations in the field of sports marketing, providing insights and data for the team and National Sports Marketing Manager in the planning process.
  • Preparing crisis plans for initiatives. Analyzing potential risks for projects and flexible action in changing market conditions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of experience in a similar position
  • Significant experience in organizing large and complex event projects in the sports area
  • Experience in managing teams of people in office and event settings
  • High planning and control skills in time
  • Ability to act under pressure and in crisis situations
  • Engagement in sports topics (both action sports, motorsports, and mainstream sports)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the marketing market
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to create cost estimates and account for projects
