Description
Join a rapidly growing Quantum Computing team at NVIDIA and work with internal and external teams to define system requirements for fault-tolerant quantum computing.
As a Senior Quantum Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to develop novel approaches to real-time quantum error correction and calibration. You will distill product requirements into technical requirements across hardware, software, and firmware, and develop test cases supporting technical requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to define system requirements for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Developing novel approaches to real-time quantum error correction and calibration
- Distilling product requirements into technical requirements across hardware, software, and firmware
- Developing test cases supporting technical requirements
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering field
- 5+ years of post-bachelor's experience in engineering across multiple parts of a complex hardware and software system
- Deep hands-on experience working with real qubits and quantum control systems software
Preferred qualifications include experience with design of quantum control systems and techniques, development of real-time systems and embedded software, knowledge of methods of benchmarking quantum computers, adoption of AI and ML techniques, and experience with CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs.
