Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to grow its customer base and set the groundwork for sales. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing our customer base and setting the continued groundwork for sales at dbt Labs.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for prospects
- Organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise
- Lead and contribute to team projects that develop the sales process
- Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
- Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations
- Be an active member of the dbt open source community
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
- Diligence and organisational skills to work long, intricate sales cycles
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
- Passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn

Compensation: The Austin OTE Range is $160,000-$190,000 USD.
