Description
A Deployment Strategist at Palantir works as part of a driven and creative team to deploy software against complex problems. They synthesise disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of the problem, the data, the product needs, and the users' motivations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Going onsite to meet with customer analysts and understand their critical questions and pain points
- Identifying relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows, and working with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline
- Building bespoke workflows for new user groups
- Leading training sessions to ensure the product meets user needs and is being used widely enough to have concrete impact
- Presenting results and proposals to various audiences
The ideal candidate has an extraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments, is adaptive and introspective, and has experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages.
In this role, you'll work closely with Engineers, Product Designers, and other Deployment Strategists to deploy software against the most challenging problems our world faces. You'll have the opportunity to travel 25 – 75% of the time, depending on location and team.
