Description
We're seeking a skilled Powertrain Engineer to join our Ford Racing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and releasing new and existing components/sub-systems for our powertrain systems. Your expertise in CAD software, particularly CATIA, NX, CREO, or similar, will be essential in creating and owning 3D models and 2D drawings for assigned cast components. You'll also lead sub-system Component Program Module Team (CPMT) activities, manage casting and machining suppliers, and collaborate with CAE resources to analyze cylinder block and other similar components. If you have a strong background in mechanical engineering, material science, or a related field, and 3+ years of design and release experience, we'd love to hear from you.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the 5.2L engine program, and may expand to other major powertrain castings for other programs.
