Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Urgent Care

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urgent Care team in Greensboro, North Carolina.

As an LPN in our Urgent Care setting, you will provide high-quality, efficient care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with our team to bridge the gap between primary care and the emergency department.

Essential Functions:

• Provide care or arrange for appropriate care for patients
• Accurately document patient care and interactions in medical records
• Participate in telephone triage and advise patients according to established protocols
• Track and log laboratory and diagnostic tests, presenting results to providers
• Administer medications, including injections
• Check vital signs, height, and weight
• Assist with reviewing medication history and updating medication lists
• Perform various clinical tasks, including venipuncture and specimen collection
• Utilize standard precautions and comply with regulatory agency standards

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull
• Lift and support up to 35 pounds
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases
• Must speak, read, and write Basic English fluently

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Current LPN license in North Carolina
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
• Previous medical office experience preferred
• BLS certification required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $24.10 - $36.15 per hour
