Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Marshfield. As a Physical Therapist, you will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
Your responsibilities will include conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will also document client information, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them as necessary. Additionally, you will educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home.
As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders. You will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements. You will also participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health.
Based on facility needs and assigned locations, you may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments.
To be successful in this role, you must have an appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure, be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist, and obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
