Description
As a Production Software Engineer, you'll develop product-agnostic software solutions for our production teams. You'll work cross-functionally with production and software teams to enhance automation and build efficiencies. Your role will involve hands-on software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality Designing and implementing hardware testing strategies and tools Collaborating across multiple teams, especially software and production, to enhance automation Creating and maintaining documentation for testing procedures and tools Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement Providing feedback to design teams for product enhancements Conducting root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues Leading system architecture designs of technical initiatives
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field 8+ years of professional software development experience Proficiency in programming languages: Python and MATLAB Excellent problem-solving/critical thinking skills and attention to detail Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment Demonstrated accountability and ownership, team-player, self-motivated Drove strategic design of scalable system architecture Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred qualifications include:
Master's degree in a relevant engineering field Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems Strong understanding of hardware-software integration Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring Prior work in a high-volume manufacturing environment Experience with: SQL/databases, C/C++, javascript, nix
