MRF Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced MRF Supervisor to join our team in Rotherham. As an MRF Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), ensuring a safe and clean working environment, and leading a team of Refinement Operatives and Maintenance Support Operatives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of health and safety is maintained by reporting any issues or incorrect procedures to the management team.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the MRF, including monitoring and providing light maintenance of equipment.
• Lead and mentor Refinement Operatives and MSOs to drive performance and meet KPIs.
• Report daily to the MBT supervisors and management team on the performance of the plant.
• Attend CI meetings and take away actions.
• Carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks that the company may require.

Essential criteria:

• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Good people/customer service skills and ability to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally.
• Operation of plant equipment.
• Ability to drive performance and meet KPIs.
• Computer literate.
• Previous experience in leading a team.
• Knowledge of controlling a rota.
• Willingness to manage and lead projects within the team.
