FBS Sr Power BI Engineer (Database Integration Experience)

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Engineer with database integration experience to join our team. As a Senior Power BI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing business applications, performing impact analysis of application changes, and mentoring lower-level colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports, Dashboards, data models, maintaining data integrity, automated reconciliations, monitoring of data loads, roles & authorization management, using tools like Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, and Power Query.
• Specify/recommend integration and parallel testing criteria.
• Understand customers' processes and products and how they fit within the goals of the business unit.
• Review and validate the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Validate suppliers estimates.
• Estimate Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new application functionality.
• Perform quality review checks on project deliverables.
• Act as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned.
• Support users in building Business Case, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high-level plan.

Technical & Business Skills:

• 3+ years of experience configuring PowerBI.
• Experience doing Data Integration within PowerBI.
• Experience with DAX and SQL Server.
• Experience working with SAP within PowerBI.
